Clinical Assistant in Pediatric Surgery

In this role as a Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant, you will work directly with pediatric patients and their families, performing examinations, assisting with procedures, and documenting all care interactions. You will be an integral part of the clinical team, attending educational rounds and participating in the entire patient journey. Strong communication skills are essential in this multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and document history and physical examinations

• Assist in ordering and interpreting therapeutic tests

• Attend educational and clinical rounds actively

• Maintain patient records using electronic systems

• Monitor pediatric patients throughout their surgical process

Requirements:

• Graduate of a recognized Physician Assistant program

• Eligible for CPSM licensure as a Physician Assistant or Clinical Assistant

• Prior relevant experience preferred but not required

• Able to pass all required background checks

• Must qualify for a Medical Staff Appointment
