Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

• Minimum five years recent related clinical experience working with children and adolescents.
• Experience administering, scoring and interpreting standardized psychological tests.
• Experience in providing structured evidence based psychological interventions and psychoeducation for common childhood problems.

• Master’s degree in Psychology from a recognized university is required.

• Registration with Psychological Association of Manitoba (PAM) preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of testing procedures, test forms, and materials used in psychological assessment.
• Knowledge of psychological test interpretation.
• Extensive knowledge of the application of psychological principles to mental health and illness.
• Foundational knowledge of normal development and psychopathology.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct a clinical interview with a patient and, where applicable, with collateral informants (e.g., family members) and other practitioners.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with patients of all ages.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of data management skills.
• Ability to speak and understand French would be an asset.
• Satisfactory Criminal Records, Child and Adult Abuse Registry checks.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your employee handbook.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
