Part-Time Recreation Aide Position

Your role will involve assisting the Recreation Manager in executing innovative programs tailored to residents' interests. You will also maintain vital department records and ensure seamless communication with everyone involved. Regular participation in education sessions helps you remain informed about the best practices in elderly care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize resident-focused activities

• Maintain department records including participation charts

• Communicate events effectively to residents and families

• Facilitate transportation for scheduled outings

• Prepare and evaluate daily programming and activities

Requirements:

• College diploma in Recreation or equivalent

• Prior experience working with elderly populations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Valid driver’s license for resident transport

• Must acquire a current Vulnerable Sector Check
