As a vital member of the interdisciplinary health care team, you'll provide holistic care within the Eastern Zone's OPEZ Social Work department. Your expertise will enhance patient interactions through a client- and family-centered approach, emphasizing coping strategies and community resources. The role requires clinical assessments and engagement strategies that align with evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for patients
• Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches effectively
• Collaborate with community partners for resource sharing
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and interventions
• Provide emotional and psychosocial support to clients
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work required
• Current registration with Nova Scotia College of Social Workers
• Minimum two years of related clinical experience
• Familiarity with adult community mental health practices
• Skills in time management and self-organization
