This vital role involves working collaboratively with patients and caregivers, delivering comprehensive assessments and developing customized treatment plans. You will address a wide range of communication needs while engaging within the cultural context of the community and providing care that honors their unique backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop specialized plans to support communication enhancement
• Provide therapy in clinic and community settings
• Partner with caregivers to promote understanding of disability
• Create a supportive environment for education and treatment
• Document patient progress according to regulations
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Registration with the relevant college in Ontario
• Criminal records check and driver’s license
• Familiarity with a range of assessment tools
• Experience in multi-needs environments is preferred
