SAGKEENG CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES seeks a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist committed to empathy and fostering a therapeutic environment. Join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to impact the lives of children and families positively.
This role requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and/or Communication Sciences and Disorders. You will provide assessments and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience with effective coaching and family support, ensuring progress in communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments
• Provide assessments in home, community, and school settings
• Consult with educators regarding behavioral interventions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs
• Educate families about communication disorders
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Registration with CASLPM
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Experience with First Nations communities
• Technical knowledge of communication disorders
This role prioritizes culturally informed speech therapy practices for better communication outcomes.
