Your role will focus on prescription dispensing and exceptional customer service.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will support pharmacists, assist in processing prescriptions, and provide outstanding service to every customer. This position demands attention to detail and effective organizational skills while handling various pharmacy duties. You’ll be crucial in maintaining a smooth workflow and guaranteeing patient satisfaction with timely assistance and accurate prescription handling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and gather prescription information
• Assist in prescription preparation and data entry
• Manage third-party billing and phone inquiries
• Cash out prescriptions and ensure customer confidentiality
• Accurately file documentation to pharmacy standards
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Diploma from a pharmacy course preferred
• Previous pharmacy experience an asset
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Capability to multitask and stay organized
