We are seeking fun, energetic, enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to learn, discover and explore! As a tutor, you will be an integral part of a team, working one-on-one with children and families, teaching meaningful skills in all life areas based on individualized goals. Autism Tutor Recruitment Video

• Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team
• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Post-secondary course work in behaviour modification/applied behaviour analysis (ABA)
• Previous experience as a tutor in a supervised applied behaviour analysis (ABA) program
• Previous experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities or ASD
• Knowledge of the philosophies and practices in education, care and support services for individuals with disabilities

• Excellent, ongoing training in creative teaching strategies and behavioural principles
• Regularly scheduled team meetings for collaboration with supervisors and co-workers
• A significant career path in the field of ABA specializing in ASD
