Position: Surgical Pathology Assistant Role
Support patient care as a Surgical Pathology Assistant with Shared Health iface Hospital. This position requires in-person collaboration and knowledge of histology and medical vocabulary.

Shared Health is looking for a skilled Surgical Pathology Assistant to enhance its clinical department iface Hospital. Candidates must have a minimum of two years' relevant experience along with education from a Pathology Assistant Program. This role involves critical attention to detail and teamwork within the department, ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in pathology specimen preparation and review

• Ensure meticulous documentation and record-keeping

• Implement Routine Practices consistently

• Communicate effectively in English;
French skills are a plus

• Work collaboratively with pathologists and clinical staff

Requirements:

• Two years of relevant experience in pathology required

• Graduate from an accredited Pathology Assistant Program preferred

• Knowledge of histology procedures essential

• Preferred membership with CAP or equivalent

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure
