Join Shared Health as a General Duty Cardiac Sonographer in Winnipeg, where you'll play a crucial role in patient-centered cardiovascular care. Produce critical ultrasound images for echocardiography interpretation.

As a member of the Regional Echo team, you will be responsible for producing quality cardiac ultrasound images while adhering to professional standards. This role enables you to contribute to staff training and supports ongoing research efforts in cardiology. You will collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals in a full-time in-person capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality cardiac ultrasound images

• Assist with the education of staff and patients

• Adhere to quality assurance protocols and safety guidelines

• Engage in departmental research initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience as a diagnostic cardiac sonographer

• Accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program completion

• Certification through Sonography Canada or ARDMS required

• Maintain current BCLS (Level

C) certification

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and interpret results
