In the role of Continuing Care Assistant (CCA), you will be tasked with providing personalized care and assisting with home management for clients in need. Under the supervision of a Home Care RN/Assessor, your efforts will directly impact clients' well-being and independence. A strong commitment to client care and respect for their privacy is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal care tailored to their needs
• Provide home management and respite assistance
• Collaborate closely with the Home Care RN/Assessor/Supervisor
• Promote client independence and well-being
• Maintain confidentiality and proper recording practices
Requirements:
• Certificate in Continuing Care from a recognized institution
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Current certification in CPR/AED and First Aid
• Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector background
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physical duties
