Your role will center on mentoring healthcare staff, delivering critical training, and supporting outbreak management. This strategic position involves working closely with community partners, equipping them with the knowledge and resources to strengthen their IPAC programs and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor those implementing IPAC practices in settings
• Aid in planning and executing outbreak response measures
• Provide training on infection control methodologies
• Collaborate in improving IPAC policies for settings
• Monitor and assess efficacy of infection control practices
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license for multi-site coverage
• Relevant degree in Public Health or similar
• Active registration as a healthcare professional in Ontario preferred
• Industry-specific certification in infection control required within three years
• Minimum two years of relevant IPAC experience preferred
