Position: Part Time HCA at Extendicare
Join Extendicare as a Part Time Health Care Aide at Poseidon Care Centre, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Your vital role will support seniors with personal care and daily living activities.

As an HCA, you will collaborate with the Director of Health & Wellness to adhere to personalized care plans, ensuring residents' comfort and safety. This role emphasizes compassionate care, routine support, and helping residents achieve their daily needs. Extendicare fosters a team-oriented environment that values individual contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personal care in line with care plans

• Monitor residents’ health and report observations

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals when needed

• Assist with mobility and daily activities for residents

• Foster emotional connections and support for residents

Requirements:

• Completion of a Health Care Aide program or equivalent

• Experience in community health services preferred

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification recommended

• Ability to provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check
