Echocardiography Sonographer

Become an essential part of Shared Health as a General Duty Cardiac Sonographer in Winnipeg. You will provide exceptional echocardiography services, producing vital diagnostic images in a community-focused environment.

This full-time role iface Hospital involves obtaining high-quality cardiac ultrasound images for physician interpretation while ensuring compliance with provincial guidelines. You will also contribute to staff training and support research initiatives, enhancing the patient care experience. The position requires effective communication and collaboration within a dynamic clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain comprehensive cardiac ultrasound images

• Aid in the training of new staff and students

• Maintain a safe and quality-focused environment

• Participate in departmental research projects

• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• One year of experience in diagnostic cardiac sonography preferred

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program

• Certification as a Cardiac Sonographer from Sonography Canada or ARDMS

• Current BCLS (Level

C) certification required

• Skilled in using advanced ultrasound technology
