We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at UNTWN Uniontown Hospital. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a graduate from a Medical Assistant Program, or one year of clinical experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment attending to patient needs and supporting healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and prepare patients for medical visits
• Assist with exams, tests, and procedures
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals
• Educate patients on follow-up care
• Perform office administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of healthcare experience
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle medium physical demands
