The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is looking for dedicated Health Care Aides to support clients through personal care services. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with physical or cognitive impairments, ensuring comfort, privacy, and respect. Key skills required are effective communication, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently or within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care tailored to individual client needs
• Assist clients with daily activities and mobility support
• Maintain effective communication with clients and families
• Document care activities using electronic systems
• Support continuous health and safety standards
Requirements:
• Completed recognized Health Care Aide program
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Experience with electronic charting systems is preferred
• Ability to work shifts and weekends
