The ideal candidate brings at least two years of acute mental health experience, including work with children and adolescents. Familiarity with Emergency Department protocols is preferred.
Your role will include patient assessments, intervention planning, and collaboration with hospital teams to deliver compassionate mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric assessments using biopsychosocial frameworks
• Plan and implement mental health care interventions
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic communication
• Support families experiencing mental health crises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements:
• Minimum two years of acute mental health experience
• Experience with Child and Adolescent Mental Health
• Registration with CRNM or CRPNM required
• Strong communication and teaching skills
• Ability to practice independently and collaboratively
