As a Health Care Aide, you will work directly under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, playing a crucial role in patient care. This part-time role requires a Health Care Aide Certificate and knowledge of safe patient handling techniques. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal care tasks
• Follow nursing process of assessment and implementation
• Work alongside Registered Nurses for effective care
• Maintain confidentiality and respect diversity
• Participate in mandatory educational sessions
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide Certificate required
• Current BCLS certification
• Previous healthcare experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
