Join the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority as a Recreation Facilitator for Older Adults at the Pine Falls Health Complex. Enhance the lives of seniors through dedicated social and therapeutic programs.
In this casual Adult Day Program Worker role, you’ll work under the Services to Seniors Coordinator to deliver enriching activities tailored to participants’ needs. You must be self-directed and excel in a collaborative setting, contributing actively to the program’s success while embodying the organization’s values. Your knowledge of gerontology and experience with diverse populations will be critical in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging activities for seniors
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Ensure a culturally safe environment
• Address participant needs with compassion
• Contribute to program improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Activities/Recreation program completion required
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Strong communication skills, bilingual preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Commitment to continuous professional development
