- Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, communications, education or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of university regulations, programs and procedures as they relate to the function/program.
- Three years of directly-related administrative experience is required.
- 3–5+ years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, or higher education marketing.
- Proven experience in recruitment in post-secondary setting.
- Experience developing and executing recruitment strategies to meet enrollment targets and grow program pipelines.
- Experience managing full applicant lifecycle, from inquiry to enrollment, with demonstrated success in increasing conversion rates.
- Experience planning and managing recruitment events (info sessions, webinars, fairs, conferences, corporate visits).
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-yield recruitment pipelines, including corporate partnerships, feeder schools, international markets, and professional associations.
- Experience working with international recruitment agents/partners and developing new networks.
- Experience using CRM systems (Slate) for lead tracking, communication, and reporting.
- Experience developing marketing and communication materials for recruitment purposes, including website content and social media campaigns.
- Experience collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders (faculty, alumni, marketing, admissions) to execute recruitment initiatives.
- Experience preparing and managing budgets related to recruitment activities is preferred.
- International experience or interest required.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Analytical skills to track recruitment metrics, evaluate funnel performance, and make data-driven decisions is required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is required.
- Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally, including some evening and weekend commitments is required.
- A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
- Knowledge of graduate management education and professional program trends is an asset.
- Must be willing and able to travel nationally and internationally on occasion.
- Must be willing and able to work evening and weekends on occasion.
- Develop and execute long-term Student Recruitment Strategies for each professional graduate program (MBA, MFin, MSCM, and new programs planned for the next three years).
- Build and execute a dedicated growth strategy for MSCM and MFin, in consultation with the Director, SCGS Programs;
Senior leadership, Communications and Marketing Manager;
Alumni Relations; and the University’s Student Recruitment Office. - Assist with synergistic recruitment initiatives for research programs (PhD and MSc in Management).
