Senior Application Security Analyst

Position: Senior Application Security Analyst Role
Join Payworks as a Senior Application Security Analyst and lead efforts in securing our application framework. This hybrid role focuses on proactive security measures and vulnerability assessments.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Information Security, you'll focus on integrating secure coding practices into the development process. This role demands a collaborative approach as you work with QA, Product Management, and other teams to prioritize security requirements. Your impact will be felt across our client-facing applications as you strive for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage application security strategies

• Identify vulnerabilities in software and integrations

• Oversee SAST/DAST tool deployment and administration

• Engage with the SOC team for incident response

• Train employees on secure coding and application security
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Over 5 years in software development and security

• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies and SQL

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Knowledge of AI/ML security principles is a bonus
