Senior Solutions Engineer
Canada (Remote or In-Person in Winnipeg)
The RoleRocket Rez is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with Sales and customers to design, validate, and communicate tailored solutions. This role plays a critical part in the sales process by aligning customer needs with platform capabilities and ensuring a strong foundation for successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Account Executives to support the sales cycle through technical discovery, solution design, and validation
- Lead customer discovery to understand business requirements, workflows, and technical environments
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Design and validate solutions that align with customer needs and Rocket Rez platform capabilities
- Support RFPs and RFIs with technical input, solution design, and feasibility assessment
- Lead and support proof-of-concepts (POCs) and technical evaluations
- Design integrations between Rocket Rez and third-party systems (e.g., payments, CRM, ERP, etc.)
- Conduct technical assessments, including API-level analysis where needed
- Facilitate technical discussions and workshops with customer stakeholders
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects throughout the evaluation process
- Partner with Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition post-sale
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, demo assets, and best practices
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar technical pre-sale’s role
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and system architecture concepts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams
- Experience in SaaS or complex software environments
- Experience in attractions, ticketing, or hospitality environments
- Background in implementation, consulting, or technically oriented customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, Sandler)
