Senior Manager, Procurement & Supply Chain - Data Centre Infrastructure
About The Role
Senior Manager, Procurement – responsible for strategic sourcing and procurement execution of critical data center equipment and services. Reports to the Director of Procurement & Asset Management and supports Bell’s AI Fabric program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for data centre infrastructure categories including power, cooling, racks, cabling, network, compute, and long‑lead equipment. Lead competitive sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and negotiate commercial terms including MSAs, SLAs, warranties and performance provisions.
- Translate program demand signals into purchase orders, delivery schedules and procurement milestones aligned to build and refresh timelines. Manage order execution, expediting and vendor coordination while maintaining compliance with sourcing strategies and financial approvals.
- Own vendor commercial relationships, including performance management, QBRs, renewals and escalations. Track supplier performance metrics (OTIF, lead times, quality, RMA performance) and drive corrective actions as required.
- Partner with Engineering to ensure sourcing aligns with approved technical standards and design intent. Coordinate with Program Controls, Asset Management and Operations to align procurement with funding, change control and lifecycle readiness.
- Maintain accurate contract, PO and vendor data within procurement and ERP systems. Contribute to procurement KPIs (cost, lead time, supplier risk, savings) while ensuring auditability and governance compliance.
- 7–10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure or technical categories.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial and contractual agreements.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier risk management and procurement governance.
- Experience working in large, cross‑functional delivery environments.
- Data centre or mission‑critical infrastructure procurement experience.
- Familiarity with long‑lead equipment sourcing and supply chain risk management.
- Experience with ERP and procurement systems in large enterprises.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
