Data Architect

Location & Work ModelToronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)
Qualifications- Extensive experience in designing data models for data lakes, warehouses, and Lakehouse environments.
- Strong expertise in defining data structures, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of AWS data Lakehouse technologies including S3, Glue, Iceberg, Redshift, and Athena.
- Strong expertise in data modeling techniques such as dimensional modeling, normalized modeling, and others.
- Proven ability to define and implement data governance and data standards.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable and effective data architecture solutions.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and cost management in cloud data environments.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Prior experience in banking or financial services is a plus.
