Senior SQL Systems Analyst:
On behalf of our Education client, Procom is searching for a Senior SQL Systems Analyst for a 15-week role.

Seeking a Senior SQL Systems Analyst to assist with an Operational Data Store (ODS) and Data Warehouse project. This role involves analyzing and documenting source data, assessing business requirements, and developing new queries and application enhancements using SQL and PHP. The project aims to upgrade and migrate existing systems to improve data accessibility and reporting capabilities.

• Analyze a large, undocumented legacy PHP application with embedded SQL
• Identify and assess database and data source dependencies across multiple business processes
• Repoint/rebuild the application to a new data source
• Develop SQL queries and create recent data extracts
• Conduct PHP development with supporting Java script as needed
• Perform data validation and testing to ensure data outputs are accurate
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs

• Minimum 8 years as a System / Data Analyst
• Minimum 5 years of experience using and developing Oracle PL/SQL
• Minimum 5 years of experience with PHP
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Java script
• Minimum 3 years of experience using T-SQL and Microsoft T-SQL
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Microsoft Azure
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Power BI

• Experience with Argos
• Experience working in Post Secondary Education
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
• Excellent communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

The assignment is expected to last approximately 15 weeks.
