Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Service Now Administrator to manage, configure, and maintain our Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations, continuous improvement of Service Now capabilities, and ensuring platform stability and compliance. This role requires strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and a passion for platform governance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Platform Administration
:
Contribute to the daily administration, configuration, and maintenance of Stantec’s Service Now workplace. - Customization and Configuration
:
Implement custom scripts, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions. - Integration
:
Develop and maintain integrations between Service Now and external systems using APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and third‑party tools. - Automation
:
Build and enhance automation workflows for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other Service Now modules to improve operational efficiency. - System Administration
:
Manage the overall health of the platform, perform upgrades, and ensure high availability. - Collaboration
:
Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts and IT teams, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Testing and Documentation
:
Conduct thorough testing and create detailed documentation for new and modified features. - Compliance
:
Ensure solutions comply with security and data protection standards.
