As an integral part of the Geospatial workplace, you will assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of geospatial tools and solutions. This is an intermediate position requiring 2-3 years of experience in GIS programming and related technologies, particularly ArcGIS, QGIS, and Python. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, while mentoring others, will be essential in delivering new business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop business solutions through programming and implementation
• Provide analysis services for medium-sized assignments
• Maintain and enhance existing geospatial tools and solutions
• Create timelines and budgets for project work
• Mentor and train team members for improved effectiveness
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• 2-3 years of experience in GIS programming
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript is essential
• Experience with GIS Libraries and Frameworks like ArcGIS API
• Ability to work independently and present information clearly
