Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for the migration of Informatica infrastructure to the cloud.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Possess deep knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
- Lead end-to-end Azure migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and optimization.
- Provide guidance on best practices for migrating and optimizing workloads in a cloud environment.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units.
- Engage with senior management to provide project updates, identify risks, and elevate issues as needed.
- Negotiate and work with various stakeholders, from technical partners to the executive suite.
- Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure a smooth migration process.
- Work closely with technical teams to address challenges and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address challenges that may arise during the migration process.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity of data and applications post-migration.
- Conduct thorough testing to validate the functionality and performance of the migrated systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders and management.
- Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud migration processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the field of cloud (Preferably Azure) or infrastructure.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Service Now.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented and driven to meet project objectives.
- Solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions to challenges.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
