Principal IT Integration Architecture Consultant – Data Solutions
Lead the integration of the data ecosystem, working closely with enterprise architects, solution architects and other integration specialists to deliver high‑performance data solutions that meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities- Guide and advise project architects to align on a common TI vision for the data ecosystem.
- Ensure architects understand the current data ecosystem and build architecture accordingly.
- Advises on alignment with corporate strategies and enterprise architecture.
- Validate data solution architectures and the implementation and integration strategy.
- Guarantee that architectures and implementation strategies respect strategic alignment.
- Ensure best practices in data engineering are followed.
- Contribute to business case and strategic study development to support a performant data ecosystem.
- Propose viable data solutions in close collaboration with enterprise and solution architects, evaluating impacts and costs.
- Help define organizational strategies in partnership with enterprise architecture for the information domain.
- Actively contribute to workshops and deliverable writing.
- Coordinate with enterprise architects to ensure strategy is executable and aligned with the target vision.
- Maintain collaboration with enterprise architects to preserve consistency during implementation.
- Own the implementation of the IT component of the data strategy.
- Identify and deploy required IT foundations to achieve strategic and tactical data goals.
- Serve as an organizational change agent to facilitate data strategy execution.
- Validate estimates and scopes for solutions or applications to be developed or integrated.
- Ensure estimates consider all data engineering and analytics elements.
- Promote data engineering and analytics across the organization and influence decision‑makers toward a data‑oriented culture.
- Act as an ambassador for the senior leadership.
- Drive transformation toward a data‑centric operating model.
- Serve as a data‑solution expert when required, across platforms or applications.
- Lead IT discussions with vendors and stay abreast of market trends in data solutions.
- Maintain awareness of data‑related solutions, approaches, and methodologies and share insights with colleagues.
- Support various sectors in the data domain, acting as the IT pillar for ecosystem solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in data architecture.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance domain.
- Prior participation in large‑scale projects, business cases, and opportunity studies.
- Expertise in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence IT domains.
- Mastery of platforms and concepts surrounding data engineering, analytics, and AI.
- Experience developing data strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in French (oral and written) and functional proficiency in English (oral and written).
