As a Senior Solution Architect, you will act as a bridge between clients’ business challenges and TELUS Health’s leading technology solutions, building strategic relationships with C‑suite executives and technical leaders across Canada’s major enterprises.
What You’ll Do- Shape Strategic Client Partnerships:
Build and nurture relationships with technical and functional leaders across our most significant clients and prospects, becoming their trusted advisor on pension administration strategy and technology integration. - Collaborate with the TELUS Health Sales team to craft compelling, client‑specific strategies that demonstrate clear ROI and business value alignment.
- Position yourself as the expert voice in the room—translating complex technical concepts into business outcomes that matter to executives.
- Drive Solution Innovation & Design:
Lead the end‑to‑end solution architecture process from functional requirements review and gap analysis through system design and implementation strategy. - Design integrated solutions that leverage the full breadth of TELUS Health’s capabilities while addressing each client’s unique business processes and constraints.
- Conduct in‑depth business process design and systems integration assessments, making strategic recommendations that balance cost, risk, benefits, and delivery capability.
- Actively consult with clients on proposed solutions, explaining your rationale and refining approaches based on their evolving needs.
- Connect Client Insights to Product Innovation:
Serve as the voice of the market, documenting and synthesizing client feedback, competitive landscape intelligence, and emerging needs. - Work directly with TELUS Health’s Product Development and Engineering teams to advocate for enhancements that address real client gaps and market opportunities.
- Identify where our solutions excel and where we need to evolve—and drive those conversations forward.
- Build Expertise Across the Organization:
Lead workshops, educational sessions, and best‑practice forums for clients and partners; develop and disseminate comprehensive solution architecture documentation. - Create a repository of technological knowledge and case studies that elevate our collective expertise and accelerate future engagements.
- Manage Complex, High‑Impact Engagements:
Juggle multiple concurrent client engagements, coordinate solution sizing, development assessments, and leadership reviews to ensure clarity and alignment. - Navigate ambiguity with confidence—synthesizing information quickly, applying abstract thinking, and making sound recommendations under pressure.
Core Expertise (Must‑Haves)
- 8+ years of hands‑on experience in System Implementation, Software Business Analysis, Product Development, or Business Process Definition—specifically within the Pension and/or Group Benefits industry.
- 5+ years working in an HR service delivery environment, with deep understanding of how pension administration functions within organizations.
- Advanced expertise in Defined Benefit Pension administration delivery—you understand the products, services, regulatory nuances, and best practices that define this space.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Commerce, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 (actual total compensation will be determined based on experience).
