Join Ontario Power Generation in Oshawa, ON, as an ITSM Manager. Lead the Service Desk to deliver exceptional service and continuously enhance operations.
As the Manager of IT Service Desk, you will report to the Senior Manager IT Services and oversee a team dedicated to service excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of ITSM best practices and a minimum of 8 years’ experience within IT Service Desk, including 3–5 years in a leadership position. Your focus will be on managing resources, improving service processes, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure effective day-to-day Service Desk operations
- Lead service strategy and manage performance metrics
- Review customer satisfaction feedback to identify improvements
- Analyze service trends and establish current service channels
- Implement automation for task efficiency
- Degree in Information Technology or related field
- 8+ years in IT Service Desk/ITSM environments
- Leadership experience of 3-5 years
- Strong analytical capabilities in performance metrics
- Knowledge of CMDB and asset management
