Position: Mainframe Capacity Architect Contract Role

Your role will ensure optimal mainframe operations and capacity.

With over 10 years of experience, you will leverage your skills in MICS and RMF for capacity analysis. Key responsibilities include preparing comprehensive capacity assessments, managing incidents, and collaborating with IT teams for project input. Your contributions are vital to maintaining daily mainframe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough capacity requirement assessments for CPUs

• Support daily mainframe operations and incident management

• Develop and maintain comprehensive mainframe capacity plans

• Collaborate with IT and application teams for project inputs

• Assist in disaster recovery installation and management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years in Mainframe Performance roles

• Experience with SAS programming and capacity management tools

• Proven ability to perform complex calculations for workload impacts

• Understanding of zIIP utilization in multi-partitioned environments

• Experience in mainframe billing for ISV workloads
