Join the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery as an Expert Oracle Database Administrator in Toronto. Bring your decade-long experience in Oracle technologies and multi-tenant architectures to drive innovative database solutions.
This senior position requires hands-on expertise in Oracle 19c RAC administration and managing RMAN for backups. You'll utilize your substantial skills in SQL optimization and UNIX shell scripting to ensure superb database management. A deep-rooted knowledge of data encryption and Oracle Data Guard configurations will enhance your contributions to the Ministry's database infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute data encryption and configurations with Oracle Data Guard
• Develop effective UNIX shell scripts for database management
• Implement multi-tenant solutions on Oracle 12c and 19c
• Manage and conduct RMAN backup and restore processes
• Tune SQL for optimal database performance
Requirements:
• At least 10 years of experience in Oracle database systems
• Proficient UNIX shell scripting skills
• Knowledge of public cloud hosting
• Proven experience in SQL performance optimization
• Strong understanding of data encryption methodologies
