As a Service Desk Specialist at the WCB, your primary role will involve providing critical technical assistance across personal computing, telephony, and networking applications. You will engage in incident management, problem-solving, and access management while ensuring smooth IT operations. Your skills in customer service and technical support will contribute to creating a healthy workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level support for various incidents
• Manage requests and fulfill access needs for users
• Assist with IT asset configuration and maintenance
• Collaborate on problem management and analysis
• Manage batch and print services efficiently
Requirements:
• 1-year IT certificate from an accredited institution
• 8 months in a technical support or customer service role
• Typing speed of 35 wpm with low error rate
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and communication skills
