As an essential part of Vancity’s IT Services, you will oversee the design and integration of advanced fraud detection solutions vital for payment and onboarding processes. This role empowers you to lead the technology roadmap, implement cutting-edge tools, and collaborate with analytics teams to elevate fraud prevention strategies while navigating regulatory landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the fraud prevention technology roadmap for digital finance

• Guide selection and implementation of leading fraud tools

• Oversee architecture enhancements to support fraud solutions

• Direct monitoring and response mechanisms for fraud incidents

• Collaborate with analytics for machine learning enhancements

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• At least 7 years in software engineering or technology leadership

• Proven expertise in fraud detection tools

• Experience in bank regulatory compliance

• Knowledge of data streaming with Kafka or RabbitMQ
