Director of Cyber Security Leadership

Lead the transformation of cyber security at Manitoba Hydro as the Cyber Security Director. This strategic role is pivotal in aligning cyber initiatives with organizational goals for enhanced resilience and risk mitigation.

In this senior leadership position, you will report directly to the Chief Security Officer and drive the transition from a reactive operational model to a strategic, risk-informed cyber security capability. You’ll create a comprehensive cyber risk management framework, ensuring that security is integrated into all business technology decisions, and that measurable outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transform cyber security into a strategic, enterprise-enabled capability

• Define and execute a multi-year cyber security roadmap

• Establish a comprehensive cyber risk management framework

• Ensure integration of security in technology investments

• Provide transparent reporting on cyber risk posture

Requirements:

• University degree with 10 years of leadership experience

• Experience in cyber security and enterprise architecture

• Knowledge of information security management frameworks

• CISSP, CISM, or similar credentials preferred

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
