The Analytics Platform team develops Workday Prism Analytics, a comprehensive Data Management and Analytics platform that allows customers to unlock value from enterprise data and drive optimal business outcomes. The team’s mission is to make customers’ data experience collaborative, interactive, and insight‑driven.

In the upcoming year the team will focus on Built‑on‑Workday and the Workday Data Cloud. Built‑on‑Workday enables partners to create data‑driven apps on the platform, while the Workday Data Cloud offers zero‑copy data access to transform how enterprise data flows into Workday.

As a Senior Product Manager on the Workday Analytics Platform team, you will build capabilities for the Analytics platform to deliver Data Cloud and Prism in Built‑on‑Workday. You must be able to discuss platform architecture in technical detail with engineers and data scientists while understanding customer use cases and advocating for developer requirements to provide rich end‑to‑end analytical capabilities.

• Define the vision and roadmap for Data Cloud and Prism’s data processing capabilities, ensuring alignment and buy‑in from key stakeholders across the organization.
• Partner with design, engineering, data science, and other product managers to evolve Workday’s analytics platform, focusing on delivering intuitive, no‑code ETL experiences for data engineers and business analysts.
• Dive deep into customer use cases to understand how they leverage the platform for meaningful insights, and identify, specify, and prioritize features based on direct input from customers, analysts, developers, and architects.
• Act as Product Owner for one or more scrum teams—setting vision, writing and prioritizing user stories, grooming the backlog, keeping the team focused, and communicating progress to stakeholders regularity.
• Serve as the product champion externally by fostering a strong customer community and collaborating with Sales, Presales, Customer Success Management, and Product Marketing.
• Lead the vision and roadmap for your area of the Workday analytics platform, driving buy‑in from key stakeholders.
• Partner with other Product Managers across Workday pillars such as Finance and Workforce to identify functional and non‑functional requirements, emphasizing scale, performance, and security.
• Consistently manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.

• 5–7 years of experience as a Product Manager delivering high‑impact customer outcomes in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Cross‑Team Collaboration – Proven ability to work effectively with members from engineering, design, data science, partner product management, sales, and customer success to achieve shared goals.
• Customer Empathy – Deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and experiences, with a demonstrated ability to listen actively and translate insights into product decisions.
• Technical Knowledge – Deep understanding of data management, data platforms, data warehousing, and analytics. Solid architectural background is a plus; must speak the language of developer interfaces and APIs.
• Design Thinking – Strong grasp of the product development process and ability to collaborate with designers and user researchers to build accessible, user‑friendly experiences.
• Communication – Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to varied audiences from engineering teams to executive stakeholders and customers.
• Connector and Framework Experience – Experience providing out‑of‑the‑box connectors and extensible frameworks that enable implementation partners and customers to bring their own data sources at scale.
