Join Canada Life as a Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst, where you will manage and test recovery capabilities in cloud and on-premises settings. Leverage your expertise in Service Now to ensure technical resilience in this permanent full-time position.
In this role, you will lead disaster recovery testing and tool management using Service Now BCM. This position requires defining system configurations and architecture to meet Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). Your ability to align compliance standards with Canada Life guidelines and industry practices is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate end-to-end disaster recovery production tests
• Utilize Service Now BCM for documenting recovery plans
• Assist in configuring cloud infrastructure for DR
• Align DR strategies with industry standards and guidelines
• Conduct post-test reviews and update technical playbooks
Requirements:
• 3–5 years in IT disaster recovery or technical operations
• Proficiency in hybrid infrastructure tools and services
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO and NIST
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant certifications preferred
