Murex Business Analyst – Capital Markets

Infocodec Solutions is seeking an experienced Murex Business Analyst with strong expertise in the banking and capital markets domain
. The successful candidate will work closely with trading desks, risk teams, operations, and technology groups to implement, enhance, and support the Murex MX.3 trading and risk management platform
.

This role involves business requirement analysis, functional design, system configuration support, and integration of front-to-back trading workflows
, ensuring that trading, risk, and back-office processes operate efficiently within the Murex ecosystem.

• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk Management, Operations, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs within the Murex platform

• Support implementation and configuration of Murex modules
  , including:
  • Front Office trading
  • Risk management
  • Back Office processing
• Work closely with development teams to support system customization, testing, and deployment activities
  .
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
• Analyze and support the complete trade lifecycle
  , including:
  • Trade capture
  • Risk calculations
  • P&L and exposure monitoring
  • Settlement and accounting
  • Regulatory reporting
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for Murex-related workflows and system issues.
• Ensure the platform meets regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational standards
  .
• Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and platform optimization initiatives
  .

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within banking or capital markets environments
  .
• Hands‑on experience with the Murex platform (MX.3 or earlier versions).
• Strong understanding of financial products, including:
  • Derivatives
  • Fixed Income
  • Foreign Exchange (FX)
  • Structured Products
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle across:
  • Front Office
  • Middle Office
  • Back Office
• Experience with SQL, data analysis, and system integration concepts
  .
• Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
• Experience working within Agile / Scrum delivery environments
  .
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience supporting Murex implementations, upgrades, or integration projects
  .
• Knowledge of risk management concepts such as P&L, VaR, and exposure monitoring
  .
• Experience working in large banking or financial institutions
  .
• Understanding of financial messaging and system integrations
  .
