Cybersecurity Risk Specialist

Position: Cybersecurity Risk Specialist with Manitoba Hydro

In this role, you'll support the implementation of security solutions under the supervision of the Security Risk Management Lead. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating audits, managing security incidents, and maintaining communication with industry standards organizations. You will ensure security measures align with corporate values and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recommend technology security practices across systems

• Coordinate internal and external audit support

• Conduct thorough security assessments

• Support post-loss investigations and assessments

• Maintain risk register and update remediation tracking

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science with at least five years of experience

• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and frameworks

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Willingness to obtain CISSP certification

• Current valid Manitoba Driver's License required
