* Create funThe Auto Insurance Specialist I is primarily responsible for processing basic insurance transactions and auto policies.
** Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
*** This position processes basic insurance transaction and auto policies.
* Processes auto and basic insurance transactions under the supervision of a more senior licensed broker.
* Identifies client needs and provides information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and other policy features best suited to meet the client's needs; works with clients to manage and reduce their risk.
* Recommends and implements a client’s insurance coverage, premiums and collects payment; promotes Brio/Interlake Insurance products and services.
* Support the achievement of department and organizational goals as well as actively participates in regular staff meetings.
* Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention. This list is not inclusive and other tasks and/or responsibilities may be assigned by your supervisor.
** Essential Qualifications
*** Level 1 or working towards Level 1 Brokers license
* Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure
* Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions
* Knowledge of Brio Insurance products and services
* Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures
* Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry
