Marketing Broker(s) Insurance Portfolio as assigned.

Position Summary:

Support proactively Broker(s) in all aspects of marketing Commercial Line accounts; by building and fostering strong relationships with underwriters, clients, and office staff.

• Proactively manage Broker(s) renewal portfolio.
• Liaise with Broker(s) to discuss client needs and make recommendations regarding required terms and conditions.
• Obtain information from clients and/or Broker(s) to create and process submissions and renewals.
• Analyze client coverages, exposures, loss history, to determine risk requirements.
• Coordinate the discussion of renewal strategies with Broker(s), and other producers when requested by Broker(s).
• Liaise, and transact with underwriters and insurance company representatives.
• Prepare and maintain up to date all needed documentation as part of insurance policy renewals, and new submissions.
• Proactively place, negotiate, and track renewals/submissions into the insurance market, including mid-term changes and endorsements.
• Ensure accurate processing and review of policy documentation: paper copies, digital downloads, emails, etc.
• Review policy wordings and policy documents for accuracy.
• Maintain ongoing licensing requirements.
• Keep current on new products, coverages, and market trends.
• Act as technical support to staff for policy coverages and company underwriting information requirements.
• Provide exceptional and prompt service.
• Maintain professional relationships with underwriters, co‑workers and clients.
• Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.

• Required Designations: CAIB 1, CAIB 2 or equivalent.

Salary
: $55,000 to $75,000 dependent on experience.
