• The Auto Insurance Specialist II is primarily responsible for processing basic insurance transactions and auto policies.
• Process basic insurance transactions and auto policies under supervision of a more senior licensed broker.
• Identify client needs and provide information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and policy features to meet the client s needs; work with clients to manage and reduce risk.
• Recommend and implement a client’s insurance coverage and premiums and collect payments; promote Brio Insurance products and services.
• Complete MPI transactions independently.
• Sell SMI auto extension policy independently.
• Assist the Property Insurance Specialists by collecting data from personal lines clients, accurately complete residential cost calculators and use compu quote.
• Support the achievement of department and organizational goals; participate in regular staff meetings.
• Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention.

• Completed Level 1 Broker s Insurance license
• One year of experience processing MPI/SMI transactions
• Completed Intro to Autopac and DL, Customer Excellence, Extension Products and Commercial Vehicle Registration
• Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure
• Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions
• Knowledge of Brio Insurance products and services
• Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures
• Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry
• Proficient computer skills
• Fluent in French would be considered an asset
