- The Auto Insurance Specialist II is primarily responsible for processing basic insurance transactions and auto policies.
- Process basic insurance transactions and auto policies under supervision of a more senior licensed broker.
- Identify client needs and provide information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and policy features to meet the client s needs; work with clients to manage and reduce risk.
- Recommend and implement a client’s insurance coverage and premiums and collect payments; promote Brio Insurance products and services.
- Complete MPI transactions independently.
- Sell SMI auto extension policy independently.
- Assist the Property Insurance Specialists by collecting data from personal lines clients, accurately complete residential cost calculators and use compu quote.
- Support the achievement of department and organizational goals; participate in regular staff meetings.
- Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention.

- Completed Level 1 Broker s Insurance license
- One year of experience processing MPI/SMI transactions
- Completed Intro to Autopac and DL, Customer Excellence, Extension Products and Commercial Vehicle Registration
- Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure
- Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions
- Knowledge of Brio Insurance products and services
- Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures
- Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry
- Proficient computer skills
- Fluent in French would be considered an asset
