- Approve insurance claims
- Consult with claimants, accident witnesses, doctors and others
- Determine amount of loss or damages covered by insurance policies
- Determine validity of claims
- Examine records and reports to determine insurance coverage
- Investigate circumstances surrounding insurance claims
- Prepare adjustment reports Computer and technology knowledge
- Database software
- MS Windows Insurance experience
- Commercial or industrial property Security and safety
- Criminal record check Transportation/travel information
- Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities
- Fast-paced environment
