Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance applications and assess evidence of insurability

• Make competitive underwriting decisions by applying holistic expertise

• Negotiate with reinsurers in line with internal guidelines

• Communicate decisions effectively to advisors and medical professionals

• Mentor junior underwriters and support their professional growth

Requirements:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French

• 10-15 years of individual life underwriting experience

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant studies

• ALU certification or commitment to ongoing education
