This role requires a bachelor’s degree and over three years of experience in catastrophe modeling, utilizing RMS or AIR Verisk software. You will work with internal teams, driving analytics and modeling efforts while ensuring stakeholder engagement through effective communication. Your insights will play a crucial role in the evolution of risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and calibrate models to assess catastrophe perils
• Analyze data and research for improved model accuracy
• Work alongside actuaries for risk management insights
• Monitor exposure accumulations and coordinate independent reviews
• Communicate analysis results via reports and presentations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or related fields
• 3+ years of catastrophe modeling experience
• Proficiency in R, SQL, or similar tools
• Strong analytical and risk assessment expertise
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
