As part of Sorenson's expanding Video Relay Service, you will interpret between ASL and spoken English. This part-time or full-time role demands adherence to professional ethics, technical proficiency, and excellent customer service skills. Ideal candidates will have the capacity to learn quickly and engage in continuous professional education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide accurate interpretation services for clients
• Comply with local licensure and ethical standards
• Support team efforts while maintaining individual accountability
• Complete tasks promptly according to guidelines
• Promote continued education to refine interpreting skills
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED necessary
• Required certification in interpreting based on local regulations
• Customer-oriented mindset in a regulated environment
• 3 years of experience preferred, not mandatory
• Attendance at work must be reliable
