Flyer Procurement Buyer

Position: New Flyer Procurement Buyer
Make an impact at New Flyer as a Procurement Buyer, responsible for executing material supply plans and driving inventory success through supplier collaboration and Oracle data management.

This role as a Buyer positions you at the forefront of New Flyer’s supply chain efforts, ensuring the delivery of materials aligns with the company's ambitious goals. With a strong background in purchasing or planning, you’ll be crucial in handling supplier interactions and addressing concerns to optimize supply processes. Your experience will be key in maintaining data integrity and achieving company targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily procurement tasks in accordance with company goals

• Expedite and prioritize purchase orders as needed

• Consult with suppliers and internal clients to resolve issues

• Conduct follow-ups and maintain compliance with supply contracts

• Generate performance reports to track KPIs effectively

Requirements:

• 2+ years of purchasing or planning experience required

• Basic understanding of inventory planning and MRP systems

• Strong computer skills and data analysis experience

• Effective communication abilities in various settings

• Willingness to travel minimally, up to 5%
