Positioned as a Category Assistant, you will assist the procurement team at NFI Parts, a leader in vehicle parts supply. This role focuses on entering purchase orders, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating supplier logistics. You will also be instrumental in maintaining accurate records, supporting team initiatives, and compiling procurement reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist buyers with purchase order entry and updates
• Investigate supplier invoice discrepancies with finance
• Communicate with suppliers for quotes and product availability
• Collect item data for customs clearance
• Track and update order statuses for timely delivery
Requirements:
• Enrolled in University of Manitoba's Business/Supply Chain Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle
