Logistics and Inventory Optimization Specialist

In this strategic role, you are tasked with optimizing logistics and inventory movement in Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg. Your responsibility includes managing SAP transactions effectively while collaborating with local manufacturing partners to minimize costs and maximize inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regional purchasing with full PM signing authority

• Develop effective min/max inventory levels for SKUs

• Coordinate outbound freight optimizing hub-and-spoke logistics

• Build robust relationships with key suppliers for better agreements

• Track and resolve inventory variances to maintain accuracy

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics

• Proficiency in ERP system for inventory transactions

• Strong analytical skills for managing inventory costs

• Ability to work independently without IT assistance

• Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship skills
